Parkinson’s Disease Care Partner Resources

Navigating Parkinson’s disease is a life-long process for caregivers, but there is help and assistance. The following are some articles, groups, and other support for the Parkinson’s disease caregiver.

Care Partner Resource Guide

Caring for someone living with Parkinson’s disease is a journey filled with both rewards and challenges. At the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas (PAC), we recognize the essential role that care partners play in ensuring the health, comfort, and quality of life of their loved ones. Our Care Partner Resource Guide was created to provide practical tools, trusted information, and compassionate support to those who give so much of themselves.

This guide connects care partners to vital resources such as respite care, support groups, educational programs, and financial assistance, helping to ease the emotional, physical, and financial demands of caregiving. It also offers strategies to prevent burnout and promote self-care, reminding caregivers that their well-being is just as important as the care they provide.

Through PAC’s programs, webinars, and community connections, we are here to stand alongside care partners every step of the way. Together, we can ensure that both caregivers and their loved ones living with Parkinson’s thrive and live well today.
