Stronger Together: Finding Resilience in Life with Parkinson’s
Wednesday, March 4, 2026
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

For March’s Virtual Support Group, the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas (PAC) Program Director, Gillian Schultz, will explore meaningful strategies that explore methods of coping with Parkinson’s disease through topics including emotional well-being, physical health, resilience, connection, and hope. This session offers space to reflect on the changes that Parkinson’s brings — including the feelings of grief that can accompany those changes — while also highlighting tools to help move forward with strength and community. Participants will leave with practical ideas, renewed encouragement, and the reminder that you’re not alone.

Gillian has been delivering education and support to those living with chronic medical conditions and their families for 11 years, and has been on the team at PAC since April 2025. She believes in empowering people with the tools they need to manage their health condition so they can live their best life possible now. Prior to that, she spent 10 years as an orchestra and music teacher in North Carolina and New York.
