Join the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas (PAC) and filmmaker Robert Cochrane for a special Virtual Support Group. We are honored to be screening part 3 of the documentary series, Boys of Summer: Short Stop.

Boys of Summer follows the story of father and son, Dan and Robert Cochrane. Dan was diagnosed with young-onset Parkinson’s disease in 2001. The first film starts with their their journey to visit every Major League Baseball Park. Following the release of the first film, Boys of Summer: First Base (2004) and Boys of Summer: Second Base ( 2014), Boys of Summer: Short Stop (2020) continues their journey as Dan’s Parkinson’s advances. Through their visits to Dodger Stadium, Petco Park, Oakland Coliseum, Rock Steady Boxing Headquarters, and The Second City Theatre, the film highlights the bonds of family and what it means to keep showing up.

Following the film screening (53 minutes), we’ll be treated to a Q&A with filmmaker Robert Cochrane.
