Join the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas (PAC) for our monthly Virtual Support Group webinar. This month, we’ll learn about Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson’s Dementia with Lewy Bodies, how the two are different, common cognitive, movement, sleep, and behavioral symptoms, and how these dementias are different from Alzheimer’s disease.
About the Speaker
Rachel T. Rose, MOT, OTR/L, is the Education Manager at the Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA), where she leads evidence-based education for individuals, care partners, and healthcare professionals. She is an occupational therapist with a background in outpatient neurorehabilitation at University of Iowa Health Care (2015–2025) and currently serves as lead OT for the Interdisciplinary Movement Disorders Clinic. Rachel is certified in LSVT BIG and Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention and has been OT faculty for the Parkinson’s Foundation Team Training program since 2019. She is committed to helping others better understand and navigate neurodegenerative conditions.
