The Power of Neuroplasticity & Exercise to Improve Movement in Parkinson’s
Wednesday, February 11, 2026
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Join PAC to explore the powerful relationship between neuroplasticity and exercise in improving movement and function for those living with Parkinson’s disease. Neuroplasticity is the brain’s ability to change and adapt.
Jenny Yopp will help participants to gain a clear understanding of how the brain adapts through targeted, evidence-based physical activity, and why consistent, intentional movement is a critical component of Parkinson’s care. Drawing from neuroscience, corrective exercise principles, and practical program design, this session will highlight how exercise can support gait, balance, coordination, and confidence, while reinforcing long-term brain health.
Jenny Yopp is the Development Manager and Parkinson’s Power Head Coach at The Ivey.
