Support Group List

Support groups can connect you with people who are experiencing or have experienced a similar situation as you. Participating in support groups provides firsthand experience in navigating Parkinson’s disease and can provide you with a peer-to-peer network of people who understand what you’re going through. You don’t have to be alone living with Parkinson’s disease.

The Parkinson Association of the Carolinas (PAC) hosts a monthly, VIRTUAL SUPPORT GROUP, on the first Wednesday of the month at 2:00 PM. Contact Gillian, PAC’s Program Director at gschultz@parkinsonassociation.org or (980) 245-2786 for more information.

Information about other support groups across North Carolina and South Carolina can be found below.  Please contact PAC at (980) 245-2786 or pac@parkinsonassociation.org to receive contact information for any of the support groups you are interested in. These support groups are not run by PAC, so you will need to contact the support group leader for more information and to sign up.
