Joanna brings over two decades of experience in the nonprofit sector, specializing in direct service provision, program management, fundraising, event planning, and organizational leadership. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a Master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling and Evaluation from East Carolina University. Joanna further advanced her professional development with a Nonprofit Management Certification (2023) and an Executive Certification in Nonprofit Leadership (2024), both from Duke University. She is excited to bring her skills and passion for nonprofit leadership to PAC, supporting and expanding its mission to empower individuals and families in the Carolinas affected by Parkinson’s disease through education, outreach, and direct support. Joanna and her husband, Don, live in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and are proud parents of a grown daughter and son.
